OUR COVID-19 SAFETY MEASURES
We have drastically reduced the number of seats as a whole in the restaurant by eliminating tables and chairs, and also have restricted the number of guests allowed per table.
We have installed large but tasteful glass partitions between all of our most popular tables located along the front windows (many guests have commented how nice they look, adding that they look like they have always been a part of our dining room).
We have also completely eliminated all seats at the bar; however, a limited number of properly spaced bar tables are available, including our popular "west wing".
We conduct temperature screenings daily of our entire staff, and instruct any of our staff that has either travelled or been in contact with anyone feeling ill to either quarantine for the recommended number of days or submit to a Covid-19 test.
Our staff must wear a mask at all times while on the premises, and we also require guests to wear masks at all times unless seated at a table while dining. (We provide masks for guests who have forgotten one).
We provide multiple stations of hand sanitizer for both staff and guests.
We require the name and phone number of all guests joining us, in accordance with the conditions of contact tracing required by the Maine Department of Health.
In addition, before allowing any guests to dine inside, we took and passed the Hospitality Maine Covid-19 "Restaurant Readiness Foundation Course''.
We understand that the precautionary steps we have taken will inconvenience many, especially those wanting to sit at the bar, and we apologize if we have disappointed any guests while we make all efforts to adhere to all the recommended guidelines. Our goal is to make sure our guests feel safe while visiting us without sacrificing the quality and service that Five-O has always been known for. We genuinely want nothing more than to put these difficult times behind us and look forward to the days when we can be at full capacity.
